War and Peace in the Middle East: The Hamas-Israel Conflict… Behind the Headlines!

Greetings Friends and Colleagues

The current conflict in Israel and Gaza has sparked a lot of emotions and also a host of questions of why, how, and especially what this means for the immediate and distant future. Whether you have scheduled plans to visit, have visited in the past, or have never been to the Holy Land, we have created this blog to address various aspects of each of these questions and elements. We plan to provide regular updates on the events, progress, and other interesting facts related to Israel and the current conflict. We will also include updates about our scheduled tours to that part of the world.
The resources we will use will be our subscribed news sources from the Middle East (we pay for annual subscriptions that are extremely insightful), those who live there (our local friends provide so many real life insights that you can’t get on the news), as well as our own insights from our experiences there (extensive visits since 1977). We will do our best to be neutral and report the facts and yet also share perspectives relevant to our faith and other relevant scriptural & prophetic insights.
The issues involved in this conflict are so deep and complex that we hope by sharing short details consistently that it will provide you with understanding and also help you see the bigger picture at large here. This part of the world affects so many different people and facets of religious belief, scripture, and prophecy. We hope to touch on all of that with short and regular posts.
As long as other countries don’t get involved in this conflict, we fully intend to return to this part of the world on our April 2024 Holy Land Tour to Israel, Jordan & Egypt. It is going to be a historic and special one!
It is interesting how all the eyes of the world naturally point to this part of the world and have a vested interest in what happens and why. Almost more than any other part of the world. There is good and ample reason for this! Stay tuned!
