CLASS 1: Introduction
Introduction to the 4-part Holy Land Scripture Series! Description of the series as well as the reasons why and also how it was created and the outlined objectives. It is for all ages and especially good for those experiencing a “faith crisis”.
Class 2: Jerusalem the Eternal City!
Jerusalem is the epicenter for Gods dealings with His people throughout time and is an important part of the Abrahamic Covenant and the Prophecies of the Last Days. Its role in the past, present, & future is explored.
CLASS 3: Before Creation (Pre-Mortal Existence)
We existed before the Creation of the World in what is called a Pre-Mortal Existence. This episodes explores what we know scripturally about that critical time period; War in Heaven, how Jesus Christ was chosen as the Redeemer, how Lucifer fell and became the Devil, who he targets, how we can overcome the Adversary and thrive today.
Class 4: The Creation (Fall, & Atonement)
In this episode we address the questions of; Who Created the Earth, How was it created, How Long did it take, and for What Purpose! We also explore the various creation accounts including how the Creation of the Earth proves as a pattern for God’s work in the Last Days!
CLASS 5: Enoch (translated & taken up…return!?)
Enoch is a fascinating character who only has 4 verses about him in the Old Testament. The Restoration adds 116 verses to our understanding of this key Prophet who will also play a part in the events of the 2nd Coming of Christ. This episode explores his mission in the past and also in the future!
Class 6: Noah, the Flood & the Future!
Why did the Lord destroy the world? Was it an act of love? How long did Noah preach before the flood came? How did Noah gather the animals? How long were they on the ark? What was the first they did once they got off the ark? What special instructions did God give them once they arrived on land? How does Noah relate to the 2nd Coming of Christ? We explore all of these questions in this Episode!
CLASS 7: Ancient Temples (Egyptian Temples vs Modern Temples)
This Episode is one of the more fascinating as we explore the instructions and details of the 1st physical Temple given by the Lord (the Tabernacle). We also explore the Egyptian Temples and beliefs and how they had an “imitation” form of the endowment! This Episode is exceptional Temple prep for those entering for the first time and amazing for those already endowed or any who have an interest in Egyptian Temples and beliefs!
Class 8 & 9: The Abrahamic Covenant!
These 2 Episodes might be the most important to understand! Abraham is known as the most important character and personality in the Old Testament! God makes an “everlasting covenant” with him that is still intact today and has everything to do with God’s dealings with His children on planet earth as well as who should inherit the Holy Land! Muslims, Jews, & Christians all claim Abraham as their spiritual leader and claim the blessings promised to him (including the Holy Land…). Wow! Do not miss this one!
CLASS 9: Sodom & Gomorrah (Today?)
The story of Sodom & Gomorrah is very well know and might be one of the more misunderstood stories in the Old Testament! Jesus refers to this story when speaking of His 2nd Coming with a powerful message to us. We explore the story and its significance to us living today and how our day has been compared to it!
Class 10: The Law of Moses (Shema)
The Law of Moses would govern God’s people and religious life for 1,500 years until Jesus comes to fulfill the Law! This Episode explores the overall purpose of the Law as well as the most important parts of the Law with emphasis on the Shema or what is called “The most important law and commandment” to Love God with all your heart. We explore the beautiful Doctrine of the Heart!
CLASS 11: Moses, Mt Sinai, & The Exodus
This Episode is SO critical in understanding the Old Testament and so many other things! Moses experiences on Mt Sinai and him delivering the Children of Israel out of Egypt with the Passover is fundamental to all of scripture and Gods dealings with His people. This one is a must!
CLASS 12: The Promised Land
Joshua is the one chosen to bring the Children of Israel into the Promised Land by first conquering Jericho in dramatic fashion. There is RICH symbolism in Joshua being the chosen one to do so, also where they crossed and how is also largely significant. We will explore this fascinating story as well as the rich symbolism critical for our understanding of Old Testament events and Gods dealings with His people!
Class 12: 3 Kings in Israel: Saul, David, & Solomon (1 Samuel – 2 Kings)
Is it good to have a King? When the Children of Israel get into the Promised Land they begin to desire the same government structure as all of their neighbors by having a King! This Episode will explore the first 3 major Kings in Israel; Saul, David, & Solomon and how it worked out for them as individuals and as a nation. What is the best form of government? Does absolute power corrupt?
CLASS 13: The Kingdoms Split (10 Lost Tribes)
How did the 10 Tribes become lost? We will explore how the Children of Israel spilt into 2 Kingdoms; The Kingdom of Israel (10 Tribes in the north) and the Kingdom of Judah (2 tribes in the south) and how this led to the 10 Tribes becoming the “Lost 10 Tribes“. We will learn the evils of Baal worship in this episode as well as how one decision can lead to years of apostasy and abandonment.
Class 14: Elijah (& the Priests of Baal)
“Some scholars and historians claim that after Moses, Elijah was the greatest man in Israel’s religious life. And some regard him as the most popular personality in Hebrew history.” [Jerusalem, The Eternal City, 78]. We will explore Elijah and particularly his dual with the Priests of Baal. Important lessons of personal conversion will be discussed.
CLASS 15: End of OT (Temple Destroyed- Abomination of Desolation)
The destruction of the Temple (and Babylonian captivity) is the 1st “Abomination of Desolation” and is very critical to understand! This story is critical in setting up the New Testament and well as the prophecies of the Last Days and understanding the significance of the Abomination of Desolation and its role in the winding up scenes relative the Savior’s 2nd Coming!
